Do we have any ERP developers on this forum? This would be programmers working with the below products for instance:

  • SAP
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance/Operations/Supply Chain
  • Sage
  • Oracle NetSuite
Seems to be very few people in this space.
 
With regards to SAP, those okes earn more money than an ANC cadre with his hand in the till.
I bet they're just too busy and too grand to post on forums such as these.
There are few SAP devs here.

SAP ABAP developers that knows their stuff are worth their weight in gold and are few and far between.

That being said, I dont think SAP devs are coining it like they were say 15 years ago when they worked on contract basis and were in demand 24/7. They have to compete with cheaper rates from India. Sometimes outsourcing works, but in many cases its a case of being are penny wise and pound foolish.
 
SAP screwed up huge with Hana. Everyone is hiding away because they are so embarrassed
