Erroneous data bundle reset

On 1 July 2009 I bought a 3GB data bundle, believing this would be active until 1 September 2009. Imagine my surprise when, on 1 August 2009 I checked my online data bundle balance and found I had 0.00MB available, even though my bundle expiry date was 1 September 2009 and I had had over 2GB available the previous day. I checked my last 10 transactions and saw that on 1 August 2009, a 'Data Bundle Reset' was performed. Realising that there had obviously been a mistake, i called the call centre and after 30 minutes of holding, I was told that they had obviously made a mistake and that the mistake would be corrected within 24 hours. That was 456 hours ago.

I have repeatedly called for updates. I have gone to my local Vodacom outlet and every time, I have been fed a different lie. Last I heard was that these problems take 14 days to resolve. It's been 19 days. Yesterday, I was told that this had happened to so many people, they now had a backlog of problems like mine to solve and I'd just have to wait.

Now I wonder...when they finally resolve the issue, is my remaining data bundle going to disappear on 1 September (assuming it gets resolved before that).

Come on. Take some responsibility and sort this out.

In case someone from Vodacom is going to look into the problem, the reference number is S2Y294KKK8PP.

You shouldn't give out this type of info! Rather PM VodacomData, he's the rep for Vodacom. I'm sure he can sort it out for you.
