Years ago they would come around twice a week to come and inspect all the bars in each cell. but as the years went by, and the stomachs grew bigger, they came less and less to eventually maybe once in 6 months, and this was in maximum security prisons. What I can tell you though, today they will be checking the bars, all over the country, since someone escaped...lol
so then my next question is how often do they do a cell shakedown? after a escape/riot or just randomly.

They have days where they will come and search a whole unit, all the cells. That does happen, but you can go for a couple of months without that happening. The issue with those searches, it is all the members in the prison that normally come around to search. Some of them are so lazy, they will even ask you to just quickly help them throw some stuff on the floor, so that it looks like they searched the cell. Then they will just sit on your bed while you stand outside and keep a lookout for when an officer comes around so they can pretend to be working.

The other times where you get searched is if your name is on a list, some informant has given your name and it gets added on a list, then they come with a selected few members, the more trusted group, and they come at all hours, not only early in the morning after the members on duty parade, but even during the night.

Then there is the end of year special operations that always gets showed on the news etc, those are conducted by the EST, and happens only at the end of the year, again also not all prisons and not all units inside a prison. Those are really more for show.

"Please Don't Escape"
We can still be polite...yet firm......And to the point.
maybe we will have a prisoner escaping by jumping into the "Leaving prison line"
and saying to the Guards, Yo man, Prison is Rough, but I made a mistake, I'm in the wrong line, please let me out.

It's always a nice thing to crap on the police but what about having a responsible citizenry? It seems the most important thing was getting a video to post on Twitter instead of alerting the cops?
I am pretty sure I would honk like crazy at the sign of this happening. I doubt if I would get out of car to prevent it though.

The day I had to wrestle a member of the Associate of Nyope Boys in the street for nicking my stuff (piglets had no handcuffs and couldnt open the door!), the police stood around and did very little...

Just like the audience I had who were filming...

Still, unless you are armed and willing to get into a situation that might go tits up real quick, you cant really blame people for not getting involved...

I also wouldn't get out of the car but looking at how none the wiser the cops look I doubt anyone bothered to even hoot.

The cops might have their problems but there's nothing to be proud of in wanting to show out the police like that, we also have a responsibility as citizens.
