Yes, that's the crux of the NERSA response. It seems they didn't reject the Eskom application based on principles, but purely on using the wrong methodology in the multi-year price determination methodology. NERSA practically invited them back
Which is the correct response. Tell NERSA why you need extra money and it will be granted, i.e. stop lying and thumb sucking figures. Isn't that what we all require? If they know what they need to run the generating fleet and that they will do it effectively and are honest to the nation about it, why deny a tariff change?
