What is most upsetting is knowing that all ministers residents are excluded from load shedding.

if they made the tax incentive for batteries too and added a nice feed in tariff and nice off peak rate
pretty sure , some would see it as a business , to buy off-peak power from eskom and sell it back to eskom at peak times smoothing out the graph, but hey what do i know i ain't an "engineer"

I’ve been waiting almost 30 years for this civil war…and yet here we still are.

Can remove geysers from every house if they want, still won't change anything. Households only use around 7% of all generated... so yeah, this is all about mah tenders and moar looting

Edit: Infact, can disconnect all households, 100% off eskom grid, and eskom will still be loadshedding around stage 3 or 4

Nothing to worry about. Judging by the rate they rolled out the set top boxes to switch from analog tv to digital and ending e-toll etc etc it will like take 10 to 15 years to roll out the smart meters.
