Eskom load-shedding hits Stage 4

Eskom has announced that it will implement Stage 4 load-shedding from 12:00 on Wednesday, 27 October until 05:00 on Friday, 29 October.

Thereafter Stage 2 load-shedding will continue until 05:00 on Saturday.

When they claim stage 4 until friday 05:00 and then stage 2 until saturday 05:00 what they really mean is STAGE 4 until friday 05:00 and in very likely stage 3 from saturday until the next saturday.

Each time Eskom makes announcements about Stage level and duration they low ball it and then as the final hour approach they extend it another week.

Prepare yourself for at least continuous load shedding either stage 2,3 or 4 until next weekend at minimum.

Like I said before. Best thing Eskom can do is to get rid of loadshedding, schedules and time & area schedules.

They should accept their fate and start the country off on a permanent 4-8 hours loadshed a day. As the grid continues its demise, just increase the amount of hours the country will not have any electricity. 8-12 hours a day or even 12-16 hours a day.

South Africa has descended to the same level as any other collapsed African country. There is no more hiding it. Just accept the realities and move on with what you have.
