Patrice says thank you very much, borrow whatever Eskom wants for it from the IDC and PIC, maybe even private funds then go for it. Only fly in the oinkment is Mantashe; he's got some ANC connected worthies who are interested. Bunfight at the trough goes on for years.

Unions are going to blow collective load at these news. They've been warning of a threat of privatisation as the drive behind the split and now they'll see themselves proven right. Though I don't see how they find a buyer.
