Eskom blew R680 billion - but can't keep the lights on

The more incompetent cadre people employed the more it drains the company, no value add. The best of all in Megawattpark the open space office lights are motion censored so when nobody moves or sleeps it switches off automatically, so why is it switched off most of the time and only activates when lunch time is at hand or going home.

I hate to play the Devil's Advocate here, but I guess someone has to:

What proportion of the additional 18 000 staff were added to the Generation division of Eskom?

Comparing generation output to staff numbers is pretty disengenous if we don't know for a fact that the lion's share of these staff were not added to the Transmission and Distribution divisions.

The devil does not need an advocate.

I'm shocked.

Eskom is another job "employment" for ANC, who doesn't want western investment in SA. No wonder AdR can't cut the dead wood. And we all going to pay increases every year to keep the dead wood aka anc voters in jobs.

Keep voting ANC!

Because a company that is producing less needs more staff for its transmission and distribution divisions?
