Eskom chief nuclear officer Riedewaan Barkadien resigns to emigrate

Eskom's acting chief nuclear officer Riedewaan Barkadien has announced his resignation and will depart the ailing power utility on 31 July 2022 to join a Canadian nuclear power producer.

The power utility revealed that Barkadien had informed Eskom of his resignation earlier this year and is now nearing the end of the notice period specified in his contract.
 
If life experience has taught me anything, it's that when senior people start leaving companies or organizations, it's only a matter of time before things become a hell of a lot worse. They usually know things that most others don't.

Except senior people have been leaving companies or organizations for years, in fact, sure some senior person left in Canada, that's why Riedewaan is going there, it happens.
