Eskom confirms permanent load-shedding for next 2 years

Maybe now I can get the damn Body Corp to OK my panels on the roof....
Sectional title? If so I feel your pain (past experience). BC's can be so tired from all the legal hula hoops they have to do these days that their energy and will to actually get something done can best be described as a limp noodle.

well we kinda are already in permanent load shedding. But not where have I seen this is implemented, only that it’s planned. I think the overlords at ANC hq is having a meltdown about this, as this rolls into election year
Relax comrade, they will blame that bloody colonial agent De Ruyter for sabotaging the power statuons

This is all well and good, but imagine all this ANC hate pushes the masses to rather vote EFF.
God help us all.

Bend over coz 2023 is gonna be rough.

& we're out of stock of this item so enjoy the dry entry

I'm shocked

Said no one in SA.

This will be the new standard till Jesus comes. Whenever have the ANC actually FIXED anything ?

Keep voting ANC !. And thanks ANC voters.

For those trying to keep up. This lasted a whole 17 hours.

...create some predictability by implementing a permanent stage 2 or 3 for the next two years in order to give sufficient space for maintenance while giving the country a level of predictability or consistency to plan the livelihoods better. Shuttling from one stage to another within a short space of time is not good for the business community."
The permanent stage 2 - 3 is going really well so far. So much more predictable now.

And what happens after 2 years?

This is good news for companies selling solar. They probably having a braai after this good news.
I know a company that started installs as a sideline since their core business was not doing well. They have been constantly busy without even advertising. Just word of mouth. Focused on businesses.

Pity doesn't suit a 60 year old ex-soldier, it's not a good look.

I'll read your source this time, IF you can source it.

What's with the old soldier reference? An attempt at ageist humiliation? And I'm proud of my service as is every serviceman, something you never were and therefore have no clue about nor can comment on. Go back to your room, mummy will bring your coffee soon.

And they will use this as 1 of the reasons for tariff increases. The loss of revenue because of load shedding
