Two former employees of engineering firm Asea Brown Boveri (ABB) have been arrested along with their wives in connection with an allegedly inflated multimillion-rand contract for work at Eskom's Kusile power station.

It is alleged that they received cash and cars from a company ABB sub-contracted, called Impulse International. The Investigating Directorate (ID) arrested the four people as part of a multi-agency initiative involving the Hawks and SARS in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal and Middelburg in Mpumalanga after raiding their premises.

Good. Too bad they didn't get Koko. Not yet anyway, he's supposed to be the architect in this deal ABB got into with his daughter's proxy company.

"However, Eskom apparently stopped paying Impulse in 2017, after the Sunday Times exposed the links between the company, Koko and Choma."

And it takes 5yrs from knowing plus more and more theft until something is actually done.

These fvckers protect each other.

Eskom contractors arrested on R2.2 billion corruption allegations

Eskom has welcomed the arrests of two former ABB Group employees and their spouses for corruption linked to Eskom contracts involving R2.2 billion.

The four were arrested yesterday by the Investigating Directorate of the National Prosecuting Authority in a joint operation with the Hawks and the South African Revenue Service.

If found guilty, liquidate EVERY CENT any of them have to their name and give that back to Eskom (not the state!)

Smallernyana thing called evidence, these guys were nabbed because there is a clear trail of money and goods bought with stolen money that points directly to them, until that is established with Koko all we can do is hope.

Also no medical Parole, which they will undoubtedly be applying for the instant they land in jail.

I'll be shocked if anything happen to them.

Year from now they will be free again living the "good life" sipping some cool-aid swapping war stories like every other corruption participant.

Two pots of curry and a round of Umqombothi. Small fry at the Saxonwold Shebeen.
