You are seeing arrests because there is political will, you see Eskom being able to switch off Soweto because there is political will, someone like Tshitangano could be fired because there is political will.

Unfortunately political will is just that, it cannot replace, good, solid evidence, and that's what you need to prosecute and ultimately convict corrupt people.

And yet a minister sells SAA for R51 and nothing is said 'cos its a BEE deal..

One thing is we'd still be laughed by this fool..

How much was it worth? Are we not lucky we got R51 for it? I thought we were supposed to pay someone to get it off our hands?

Anyway it's off topic, go moan about in the right thread

You do realise just recently Siyabonga Gama and other Transnet execs were arrested, right? Koko is fair game if there is enough evidence to put him away, he is not untouchable by any stretch of the imagination.

That's expected, you do not think they were sending them straight to maximum prison?
Bail is a consideration based on flight risk and the seriousness of the crime.
They stole millions so flight risk to Dubai is high.
As for the seriousness, the court seems to think that the countries energy security is not really a high priority.

It's time for the court to send a strong message and this is not helping

Would love to believe that anything would come of this. Alas, I've lived many a year under ANC rule.

This is pointless, they're arresting bottom-feeders. The real cadres are very very well protected at the top, planning their next heist.

The real cadres wouldn't have succeeded in capturing the state without the bottom feeders.
