Eskom kisses R24 billion goodbye

Eskom has reported a net loss after tax of R23.9 billion for the year ended 31 March 2023, effectively doubling the loss it reported for the year prior.

The state-owned power utility presented its annual results for the 2022/23 financial year on Tuesday, 31 October 2023, and it also revealed that municipal debt had increased to R58.5 billion.

Eskom loses money, blames South Africans for using less of their product, which it breathlessly demands, and enforces, on the daily.

How they can just keep burning at these incredible losses year after year with no significant action being taken to change course is just nuts.

Cause it's the ANC in charge, they don't understand anything but their own bank accounts. Plus the general person on the ground has now gotten so used to Billions being lost the number means nothing to them. We need to start talking in grants lost
Maybe if they saw this
74285714 that is how many grant monies wasted

It's honestly not a bad idea.

Start talking in numbers the average voter can understand.

X number of free houses.
Y number of new clinics
Z number of new schools

B number of Streetwise Twos.
