Eskom reports R12.3 billion loss

Eskom has announced that it has incurred a R12.3 billion loss for the year ending 31 March 2022.

This is an improvement on 2021's R25 billion loss caused by Eskom's significant debt problem — which saw the power provider spend approximately R38.9 billion on repaying capital, and R32.5 billion in interest.

So seeing as they are basically halving the losses each year, we only need 27 more years before the debt is the equivalent of a Streetwise Two and Coke  Amandla

Did the **** explain why he spent his annual budget in 6 months?

One of these days, the pic will change..........lmfao.

Too bad some municipalities are not paying their bill forcing Eskom to rely on all the taxpayers. Even though they received the money from their customers in the first place. Not marking things better :(

Yah, if only we could pay Eskom directly and cut out the middleman in this instance

Christ Yelland and Ted Blostradamus for ceo. They know how to fix and run Eskom.

Just shows the enormous Eskom staff is and clearly being overpaid for what they do. Rather then fix this and the problems, they just keep passing the bucket to Taxpayers and citizens that can't afford these ridiculous electricity increases anymore! Something gonna snap next year and July 2021 riots is going to look like a walk in the park.

So how much gupta money is needed to plug that remainder? It will be a great help when they pay back the money.
