Eskom announces week of black-outs

Eskom has announced that Stage 2 load-shedding will continue on Monday at 05:00 and extend to 05:00 on Saturday, 13 November.

The power utility made this announcement following the extensive use of emergency generating reserves and further unit breakdowns over the weekend, resulting in a shortage of almost 22,500MW.

By some luck... I've never ever experienced load shedding in my area... I feel left out actually... I feel less South African when my fellow country men discuss it

University students writing online exams shortly and as if an entire year without contact learning is not enough, now this.
Everything in this country is geared towards ensuring that the young generation does not progress or reach their potential . The African way will prevail, I suppose.

So what they're saying is that loadshedding won't stop. Saying it will continue implies there was a break.

You live in an area with critical infrastructure. Strangle though we didn't get load shedding this time at 10 and 6.

Doubt it, they shed hospitals, firestations and police stations, what else is critical?

You must live opposite Zuma's R300 million sprawling residence.

Must be a circuit that has critical industry or some industrial area.

Don't you remember the no-loadshedding-because-its-elections period?
