Ramaphosa responds to a question from DA leader John Steenhuisen. The policies of the past meant that white people were privileged over and above the black South Africans. We need to correct that.

The problem is that the current rules are an overcorrection, or so it is in my view.

Ramaphosa says he looks forward to a cup of tea with Groenewald to discuss the matter further.

Ramaphosa tells Steenhuisen that they need to have a drink to discuss BBBEE further.

They should organise a Phala Phala braai.

Affirmative action, BEE were introduced to address the imbalances of apartheid

Oh my all the whiteys who had hope in Cyril...:ROFL::ROFL:

There were indeed a very, very small number of white people who believed in CR. The biggest majority of white people knew what was coming, hence the reason most of them are sitting in the US, UK, Canada, Panama, France, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand today. Also the reason why there are no chance for a successful company in this country with all this knowledge, skills and experience gone.

You'd think if they wanted to uplift blacks so badly they'd have kept the economy strong, generated enough electricity to grow the economy & prevented corrupt morons Zuma to destroy our institutions and democracy?

Clowns and circuses tho, look north, the formula is for the elite to coin it after independence while the genpop starve. Great success!

Face it, Ramaphosa has no clue, the best that can be said about him is that he's slightly better than Zuma (well maybe, we don't know the full extend of Phala yet).

It was never about fixing the injustices of the past. It was never about uplifting black people. You cannot fix past mistakes. You cannot fix discrimination by implementing discrimination. You cannot grow an economy by getting rid of skills, experience and knowledge.

It was about corruption and stealing money between a few connected. The rest were played, used as pawns and excuses.

When Mandela announced AA and BEE he killed the country and the ANC. The demise was inevitable. Only a matter of time, which is now catching up.

The plan was clearly stated, to destroy the current economy, to build a new black economy from scratch.

Even that idea would have been utterly retarded and not possible at all. But, they already knew that. I am leaning towards corruption and self-enrichment between a small number of connected people.
