They missed their stage 4 schedule here next to Koeberg too, started 3 minutes early and stopped almost a minute late.

If you see a flash and mushroom cloud to the west, sorry but I might not post again after that.
Nuclear power stations aren't nuclear bombs, they don't create mushroom clouds.

Slow down there buddy. We need to first set up a committee to discuss how we are going to put together a plan for a war-room that can oversee the subcommittees that will be given the mandate to come up with ideas on how to fix the issues.

You can't just jump right into fixing the problem. That is a western concept.
You forgot about the plan… all of this means nothing without a new plan.

Koeberg was the last hope and they even cocked it up, anyone know why unit 2 is actually still offline when the SG replacements were postponed till the next shutdown?
Unfortunately it looks like the cheapest and most efficient way is to build another nuclear station, which probably take a decade to design, construct and commission. All while electricity demand continues to rise and current fleet continues to age and are bound to become more problematic as time goes on. I feel we are not going to have much choice besides getting rip off by powerships in a few years time.
Load shedding is just going to get worse it seems, probably have to get off grid...

You misunderstood.

@Kola-CT was threatening to blow up Eskom somewhere in the West with an atomic bomb.

(That's why he/she has to go into hiding after that and not make any posts for a while.)

We can worry about the "new plan" after the 4 year commission set up to investigate the disappearance of the money concludes and there is a 4 part report for only the journalists to bother reading..

But 2024 is an election year, so maybe let's focus our attention on that instead, and worry about this mess Jan Van Riebeek created in 2025 when we know our salaries are safe.
