Who actually gives a f uck??! Irreversible damage has been done, as it is every time there is load shedding. They throw the public a tainted bone with an early reprieve!! And we all say thanks!! Total BS!

Stage 2 is twice, stage 4 is three times. Sure I know JHB has only had the 2 hour sessions for an hour, but how can people still not realize how this works?
I mean must be goldfish memory.

This.^ My security system in my house has been completely messed up because of all the constant loadshedding. The battery doesn't get enough time to properly recharge, it needs 8 hours of uninterrupted power to properly charge. With this BS loadshedding the power goes out every 6 hours, sometimes every 4 hours. The battery for my alarm system is now completely borked, and it is now going to cost me several hundred rands to get the system fixed.

Not sure I'd say extending it from wed morning to monday morning then stopping on sunday night classifies as 'early', but whatever helps the cadres sleep at night

Hopefully this type of thing is motivation for people to start ditching Eskom. Already got my parents on board, as well as one neighbour who kept peeping into my yard every time their power went off...

Replace it with a Blue Nova Lithium drop in replacement battery.

Power cuts suspended but grid still under pressure

Eskom suspended Sunday night's planned power cut, after regaining enough generating capacity but there's still a big gap in generating capacity and means that the grid will remain under pressure on Monday and Tuesday.

Boggles my mind as well - after more than a decade of LS people still fail to understand the system and then rant on SM.

Well to be fair in Johannesburg we've only had the 2 hour sessions for a year. But still in one year you should've learnt some things.
