Remember when the government crashed down on de Ruyter when claimed the power utility loses around 1 billion a month?

Just asking, was he understating it and that's why the ANC went nuts?

We are facing Illegal connections, squatter camps are built on vacant land next to us. The meter boxes are torn a part. No clue what Local council want.

That's weird. CIU should be inside your house - that's the whole point. If you don't have one then eishkon should sort one out for you.

Okay, old school meter so no CIU. But you can't access it? Bash the lock off then. Those numpties are meant to come and read it but that's left up to us now.

They do come and read, because they specify that on the bill. I have to take their word for it though.
