Nah, why go to all this work when we are planning on leaving. Honestly my kids don't deserve a civil war anymore than my wife and I do.
Look at Africa where there have been civil wars, and tell me this: Which Western powers helped them to such a point that the civil war was stopped completely? Which African country has rebuilt itself to its former glory after that civil war.
Which African country is like South Africa?

I guess somebody has to do it.
It is pointless now, Eskom has reached a settlement with the unions. First the unions aren't involved, but then the matter is settled with them.

Eskom has now set themselves a implication. Next time such a protest arise they will have to increase the wages since this willingness has now been shown.

The ghost employees will also appreciate.

This matter should have been resolved by the law. Too late now, the promise is set in stone.

So, you are allowed to break laws just as long as no one lays any charges?

I say let’s reach total blackout stage. Until every single South African feels the result of their vote for ANC, we’ll just keep plodding along, looking at inverters and gennies at Makro, braaing. People need to starting getting ****ing pissed off about this and DEMANDING action and results.

“The situation has escalated so badly that we suspect the police service will have to enlist the help of the defence force to bring the situation under control.”
Don't bother, the power stations in question aren't anywhere near tanning aunties or the beach.

Not sure I follow. Don't know if it's the gin or what?
Two part:
1) How long is it until we are forced to take action ourselves forming a community guard at our power stations
2) Making short work of the problem, then surely we will stop suffering their idiocy.

So it is not the gin, but I would suggest a whisk(e)y rather. haha.

Aaaaah I see. Yes, one can dream. I'm not even sure that's a possible reality anymore. We're so far down the rabbit hole
