Well I hope it stops at 10pm, then I'm safe today.

LOL Stage 2 for Cape Town, until 20:00 - 22:30, then Stage 1. That happens to be when City Bowl would be load shed (20:00 - 22:30 @ stage 2). Hmmm, definitely nothing suspicious here.

Actually, they normally have load-shedding Stage 1 from 8-10PM. They had it yesterday, which is why I wasn't load shed...

I have never experienced loadshedding past 22:00 in CT

Ah ok :p

True, but I've been load shed 20:00 a few times until just after 22:00 :) It definitely happens.

Yes I understand what you mean. But it was implied that Stage 1 will commence AFTER Stage 2 ends at 10pm. Technically load shedding is 2.5 hours, so from 8pm to 10:30pm. But here in CT it very rarely goes past 2 hours at a time.

Randburg power is OFF, this time due to @jhbwater contractor hitting multiple cables during construction. Many hours till it's restored.

Oooh. No Cape Town will scale down to Stage 1 from 8pm+. The rest of the country will still be on Stage 2.

Load shedding ends at 10pm for the entire country as you say.

And you have no UPS and backup power because?

Have you not realised that this is South Zimbabwe?

Why are you installing a SP on a critical server just before/during scheduled load shedding in the first place?

I didn't say the SP was critical either...........I said it is a critical SERVER. And imagine the "schlep" for the client when their Exchange Server is not up and running tomorrow.
