Well planned not to have loadshedding on, during, just before the SONA and the Budget speech.

It's amazing how little impact these budget decisions have on the people making the decisions i.e. cabinet ministers/government employees:
1) They don't pay for petrol (those with government sponsored cars)
2) The don't pay for electricity in their government owned houses
3) They have entertainment accounts and government paid credit cards so the increased booze tax has no impact

Why are Eskom SO SLOW in putting alerts on their site. I got the alert from Radio Algoa before it came up on their site.

Maybe the Eskom Exco are still recovering from the Budget Speech After-Party? :D
