WHAT? Eskom never!

Only 15 years later, wonder how long it will take to put the corrupt parties behind bars?

Let's see which cader was it this time.
CEO 2002-2007 and load shedding master: Thulani Gcabashe

from https://www.dailymaverick.co.za/opi...tunnel-until-blockages-are-cleared/#gsc.tab=0

The decline began under CEO Thulani Gcabashe, appointed in 2002 – under his watch, colossal pay packets became the order of the day. James Myburgh of Politicsweb identified the roots of the current crisis in two decisions taken by Gcabashe: “The first of these was to sell off most of Eskom’s coal stockpiles. The second decision was not to extend the existing coal procurement regime to meet the expected increase in demand over the following 15 years.

No surprise.

The power monopoly, which has R450 billion in debt and can’t supply South Africa with sufficient electricity,

In a June document, Eskom said it overpaid several companies by a total of 4 billion rand.

ANC wants the state to be ‘more active in guiding the economy’ post Covid-19
