Freaking madness, they only gave themselves one day to bring back those 7 units? I mean instead of the whole week like they said?

Don't expect any sort of logic from them and your disappointments will be much less frequent

I don't the funny thing is the outages are 2GW better then what they gave last night? Meaning that out of the 5GW they said were coming back, 2 already has yet they are moving to stage 4 cause one unit tripped at Arnot? Something isn't right.

I think there is a lot that we don't see and hear, so we can probably only speculate at this stage.

Between talks of sabotage and downed tools and stolen parts/diesel, I'm surprised the lights are still on at all.

But why put a blantant like like that? The fact that breakdowns are 2GW better then last night already? So out of the 12 units they said were coming online 5 have? Just the remaining 7 didn't? I mean wasn't it supposed to be a phased approach? One tripped at Arnot shouldn't warrant a jump to stage 4.

Then they should rather say, as it's frustrating when they give figures and then a day later escalate the stage but the figures are actually better? Is it because it's raining? Is demand exceptionally high?

That lot have been known for lying before, to utter extremes.
The situation is either worse than we can imagine and Ramaphosa has told them what to say and to just do what they can, or they're just punishing us. Choose, there's no correct answer.

But the sad fact is now that there's a white dude in charge, the LS is worse... so I wonder WTF he is actually doing.. Makes me wonder if blaming the ANC holds all that much clout anymore, its starting to look like we're at the casino and getting a bad hand every time.

There might be some cooking of the figures as to what the public is being told, or that's my take on it anyway. I don't trust their figures, especially as you said when it looks like it should be 'better', yet it isn't.

I don't know anymore hey, it's gotten far far worse under him. I mean at first it's like yeah he's taking on the titanic, but it feels like all he's done is steer it into another iceberg.

I have one question, how bad is the situation really?
I mean they tell us stage 4, but since the so called schedules are a waste of time, they go off at Random times and come back at Random times.

maybe the "stages" themselves are a waste of time?

Ours has been pretty accurate, remember localised faults aren't an eskom issue.
