Eskom announces load-shedding plans for the week — here is the timetable

Eskom has announced that it will continue running stage 4 rotational power cuts during evening peaks and early mornings, with stage 3 during daylight hours.

“Stage 4 load-shedding will continue to be implemented at 16:00 – 05:00 daily, while Stage 3 load-shedding will be implemented at 05:00 – 16:00 daily until further notice,” the state-owned power utility said.

This is now the norm. Going to stage 6 now and then and back to 3/4.

I watched the news briefing where they said it.
Of course the left hand rarely knows what the right hand does, so it came as a surprise to half the eskom attendees.

I think we can only hope for lower stages after end of March when apparently 1961MW is coming back online (must be planned maintenance - I'm using that specific figure because that is what De Ruyter said). Until then I can't see anything better than Stages 3/4.
