Look at Pelindaba outside of some hole in SA.so what happens to all the spent nuclear fuel, where does that go?
does SA have a repository of nuclear fuel or does it get reprocessed and recycled?
so it stays in Africa, isnt shipped off to some 1st world country that recycles and reuses its nuclear fuel.Look at Pelindaba outside of some hole in SA.
There barely is any nation that recycles and reuses the fuel.so it stays in Africa, isnt shipped off to some 1st world country that recycles and reuses its nuclear fuel.

Yeah and guess who's one of the suppliers??AFAIK, the nuclear fuel is imported into SA and before anyone talks about low standards, the International Atomic Energy Agency grants a license to the owner of the power station to enable it to import nuclear fuel only after they are satisfied with safety procedures and such. My point here is unlike say SA coal stations, nuclear power stations have to adhere to international safety standards in order to function.
