Eskom bleeding engineers and technicians

Hundreds of skilled artisans, technicians, and engineers are walking away from South Africa's state-owned companies, including Eskom, and they aren't hiring enough qualified workers to compensate for the losses.

This is according to responses to parliamentary questions directed at Eskom and Transnet representatives.

Soon only the looters, thieves and saboteurs will be left. A win win for the rodent cANCer

Not a problem.......bring in more BEE/ AA candidates and ANC cadres, that should sort the problem out......

Must be a real sh..thole of a place to work for now - I decided in 2000 that this was enough!! Scary how many highly qualified engineers are running for the hills.

Eskom reveals it lost 691 engineers, technicians, and artisans since 2019 - had that problem with my keys.

AirTag them.

It's pretty unlikely that those needing sheltered employment would be the ones able to leave for greener pastures.
We don't know if they all left for greener pastures, there is always the problem of people doing dodgy things then resigning before the disciplinary process.

Eskom being the corrupt enterprise it is a valid question to ask. Is it possible that someone like Matshela Koko could be amongst those engineers they lost?
