Eskom gives update on worker strike and available capacity

"Disciplinary processes will commence once the situation is under control," Eskom said. "At this point in time our efforts and resources are directed at keeping the lights on."

[Bloomberg]
Disciplinary didn't happen the last time they went on strike
2018:
The National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) resolved to sign Eskom’s three-year wage agreement provided the power utility doesn’t press ahead with its intention to discipline employees, the union said.

No, it's not. I'm convinced ESKOM themselves are behind these "strikes". Purely to cover up the fact that they dont have the expertise to fix the issues at hand.

Do you think Eskom likes load-shedding? You do know they lose millions in revenue for each load shedding slot....it's in their financial interest to keep power running 24/7.

The developments have added to Eskom’s struggle to meet electricity demand with unreliable and mostly aging stations, while even its newest plants are prone to defects.

They keep singing the same tunes :X3: ... how many years now

No they don't, but they're running out of stuff to blame.

Still haven't seen pics of this illegal strike that caused the escalation to stage 4...
There is a strike. You could drive to one of the concerned power stations and see for you yourself. It's absurd to suggest this is a ruse.

How come no journalists did this? I heard it was 100 workers at 10 stations.

Loadshedding is still electricity not being sold.
Yes, and they will come and say they didn't sell enough therefore they have to increase the price to offset losses. It's been happening since 2007.
