There is a strike. You could drive to one of the concerned power stations and see for you yourself. It's absurd to suggest this is a ruse.

Bet it would be near almost impossible to discern a power station with a striking work force to one without...

Yes, and they will come and say they didn't sell enough therefore they have to increase the price to offset losses. It's been happening since 2007.

If the price is more it only means they lose even more money by not selling that electricity.
