Eskom switches to stage 2 and stage 3 rotation for the week

Eskom is bringing an end to daytime load-shedding breaks and increasing evening load-shedding by one stage.

The change in schedule comes after the power utility lost three generating units and experienced delays in returning another three generating units to service.

Alrighty, take a look at this post and notice that the Wednesday (ie, what today is) preceding Easter had more loadshedding. Also note that we had loadshedding throughout the weekend, albeit suspended during the day.
And let's just ignore that you're comparing weekends to week days.
