So, did the TshwaneYaTima campaign really work? Where did the R500M go, only R30M to Eskom? I smell a rat.
R17B is a LOT of money....

According to our ward councilor, "The city will ensure full payment to Eskom by Thursday, July 7 2022."

I see a watershed moment for the relationship between Eskom and CoT.

What frustrates me, is that there was a similar allegation, not too long ago, which CoT brushed off as being the current portion of their outstanding account. I can't find it right now, but remember it quite clearly. Open cards are not being played.

They probably need some of it for themselves but they can at least try being less cheap, give Eskom R100m.

You believe the councillor? R30m out of R878m does not inspire a lot of confidence.

I understand that it might be difficult for some to fathom the amount of money in circulation. Let's see what happens.

SO are these places/problems suddenly mutually exclusive? Quit with the red herrings....
So when it's convenient to blame Soweto for supposedly not paying for electricity it's fine but when the issue hits closer to home then mentioning Soweto is a red herring. Love it

This post makes zero sense....and you obviously have no idea what a red herring is.

Try again?

They should cut off all tshwane government buildings and homes owned by government.
Eskom is not an official financial services provider.

Until Eskom is privatised this wont end. Too easy to just shift debt and losses around with a socialist gov.
