Eskom to increase load-shedding on Sunday — here's the new schedule

Eskom has announced that it will implement Stage 3 load-shedding between 07:00 and 16:00 on Sunday, 10 July 2022, after which it will be increased to Stage 4 until midnight.

The power utility attributed the planned increase in rolling power cuts to the loss of five large generation units over the past 36 hours and delays in returning five other generating units to service.

So.... INCOMPETENCE is unbelievable. Eskom is the only institution who doesn't want anybody to make use of their services. Yet they give everybody an increase. Seriously? My understanding. No business can sue either. Job losses unreal, businesses closing, economy down the S*****r, Corrupt politicians, riots etc . SA is going to be downgraded again. What is functioning in SA? I'm just asking. Sad to see the decline in 20 years since I left.

I'd rather deal with rising costs here than pay out your arse AND have that much loadshedding there I tell you, yoh

Increases and they're still just as ****ing useless as ever, wish I could work for a company where I can **** up on a daily basis and then still get a pretty decent increase at the end of the day. Oh wait, I don't work for a bunch of useless, incompetent, corrupt ****s so I have to do my job otherwise I get my arse handed to me, and not even on a silver plate.

Think we need a petition for politicians to also get loadshedded. Cyril and his whole crew. They must suffer with the rest of us or do something about it.

It's as if the strike is continuing. If we see 4 on a Sunday it means we'll be dabbling in 6 midweek.
It was never about any strike, let's be honest... that's just a scapegoat story to save some face and distract from the real cause. The EAF forecasts for winter this year were bleak since months ago before we even knew of any strike to factor into the equation. Eskom is just another failed SOE under our useless ANC guavament

Can somebody please explain to me why the levels of load shedding increase after 10pm. Are we switching off power stations at 10, are we using more power after 10? Where's the logic in increasing loadshedding when most of SA is switching off.

Building reserve capacity on the 'backup' generation sources by shutting them off

What do these morons mean. "The power utility warned that it would still take a few weeks for the power generation system to normalise". Does that mean that we stay on one stage and not jump around from one stage to another? :)
