Never said they should get 300 White people.
300 skilled people will go a long way to solve the problem. No matter their skin colour.
If this was their stance from 2008 when LS started the problem would have been less.
But now they are hung up on quotas and rather not employ any one. Or employ people not skilled to do the job.

Look at our ministers. Its a great example of employing people not qualified to do the job.
Good, I said they made the call to different stakeholders to supply them with a list of skilled people who can assist Eskom, so far they have taken 18 from Solidarity, time to move on to others, if Solidarity is aggrieved that the rest were not appointed because they are white then they should ask themselves why do they have only white people on that list and what have they done to attract a more diverse set of skills.

There are no others. Can you produce this "others" list? Sorry I missed seeing that list.

Why would I be having a list? Unfortunately I am not one of the stakeholders who got a call to supply names, otherwise I would have asked for your name already.

Let me turn the question around and ask you why TF does it matter of they only have white people on that list?

Eskom's problems are skills related and Solidarity have offered them a bunch of skilled people.

Why are we now arguing that the skilled people are too white? And if the call went out and only Solidarity responded then why the hell not just take the ones offered by the people who responded to the call? This is more than a bit ridiculous at this stage.
Bender: Hmm ... it's a good start. Uh, yeah, it's definitely big alright. I just wonder if it's too big, y'know? I mean, are people gonna be remembering me or the statue?
High Priest: But, sire, we made it to your exact specifications.
Bender: Too exact if you ask me. Tear it down and try again. But this time don't embarrass yourselves.

WHY.TF.DOES.IT.MATTER?!
If it did not matter they wouldn't have a list of only white people, if it did not matter they wouldn't have an Afrikaans institution that trains people in technical skills, but because it matters, they have gone out of their way to make sure they end up with a list of 300 white people.

The relatively small number of appointees is reportedly due to the utility facing an uphill battle against political leaders over the “inclusivity” of its skills procurement plans.
why is a word such as inclusivity used when they mean the opposite?
Those statements have ruffled the feathers of Eskom’s biggest trade union, the National Union of Metalworkers (Numsa), who said it was perplexed by the public enterprise minister accepting Solidarity’s olive branch.

“What recruitment process is this that the minister is personally driving? This is not normal,” Numsa spokesperson Phakamile Hlubi-Majola told The Cape Times.

“There are HR policies in place, and what Pravin is doing is highly irregular. At the same time, this is clearly an attempt to reverse B-BBEE [broad-based black economic empowerment].”

Hlubi-Majola also hit back at Solidarity’s claims that transformation was partially to blame for Eskom’s predicament, stating that many black engineers were more qualified than their white colleagues.
Also, I am glad this was cleared up. So BEE is not to blame as black engineers were more qualified than their white colleagues. Now that its been placed on the table, can they find the "real" reason that the lights are not on?

I don't know that only Solidarity responded, do you? And they have taken what they require from Solidarity.

The fact that they have implemented this crowd source thing means they initial call went unheeded by all but solidarity. Other they'd be dipping in that pool instead of looking for even more people when people with skills are already on offer.

I mean if it was a call for black engineers or a diverse group then maybe they should have made the call a little clearer in the beginning. Would have saved a ton of time and economy.

Don't waste your time. Can't argue with stupidity.
Stupidity is people Iike Solidarity and it's supporters wanting to protect their white exclusivity in a country that is majority non white and then moaning when te government does not want to join in on their agenda, that is stupidity.
