Don't stress folks. Jamnadas will ride in on his white steed and rescue us all

You know what I love about people using that name?
You know they are racists.

The whole history behind calling Pravin that is based on reminding everyone of his race.
Or somehow implying that it makes him less able to accomplish his task.
Why else wouldn't you just call him Pravin or Gordhan?

No doubt if I look in your post history I'll see a nice trend, but thanks for saving me the effort

It's the EFF that brought up that name, surely you are not saying they are racist?

What a surprise.

Sudden load shedding and bam, "We want more money".

Seems their tactic is still working perfectly and no one in our fkd up government bother to question anything.

is it? is it really? i would love to feed into the grid.
if government/municipalities could concentrate on battery storage and let residents install solar, even subsidise it for lower income folks, this will go a long way in alleviating poverty. imagine every shack is getting paid to produce power.
But what about all the jawbs at Eskom?

Thanks, I had no idea who he was refering too.

This time last year we had 2 days of loadshedding and Cyril quickly spoke up and said no bonuses for Eskom if there is anymore loadshedding. This year nothing.

It's almost like there was an election coming up the last time....

The more expensive electricity becomes, the less people are going to use it, the less they are going to sell. The economy is already suffering under the already ridiculous electricity prices. But if they want to make electricity a luxury item, they must not cry.

Interest rate 20.5%. Haha sheeeet. Gotta line the pockets of those fat bankers.
And the 'payback' doesnt actually pay you back for the batteries that wouldnt last the 4.5 years of daily solar cycle.

You either wont be able to use the solar generated (not many of us use power during the day) or the batteries would die from cycling.

However, if you are in Cape Town paying R2.78/kwh (over 600kWh) Then that payback gets much faster

Duh, of course they are. That's why we're once again being extorted with load-shedding. Peasants.

Or a years interest lost if I take 60k from my investment. Cant justify it

If you work from home and power is needed. You can argue it. If you don’t want to be inconvenienced when the power dips, you’ll get it.

We don’t all have R500 electricity sadly. Again, depends on your use case like all things in life
