That happens a lot unfortunatelyBromhof/Boskruin 6B normally has 6-8 hours of loadshedding. 4.5 hours + another 1.5-3.5 hours for CityPower to get the grid back up.
In Johannesburg, the stage doesn't affect the hours out, in fact a lot of areas get 4 1/2 hours every 12 hours at stage 2, if it's stage 4 and it's 24 hours a day we will have 4 1/2 hours one day, then 9 the next. This article is not correct! In Vereeniging we are also subjected to 4 hours of load shedding under level 2, sometimes even 4 1/2 hours.
We always have 4.5 hours of loadshedding when Eskom starts with their s*** and we're 50km from Vereeniging. Like @Lupus said, 4.5 hours one day, 9 hours the next. Our loadshedding has only been shy of 4.5 hours once in the last 3-4 years. This article is not correct! In Vereeniging we are also subjected to 4 hours of load shedding under level 2, sometimes even 4 1/2 hours.
Nope, still 4 hour slots: https://www.citypower.co.za/customers/Pages/Load_Shedding_Downloads.aspxCan confirm we are on a new supposed 2 hour schedule. Will see if it comes back on in two hours time. Eskom __sePush is not correct for us anymore :/
