Scam warning for people with prepaid electricity meters in South Africa

Eskom has issued a statement warning the public about a high prevalence of illegal electricity sales scams on social media platforms, through which unsuspecting customers are having their money stolen.

According to the power utility, any discounted electricity offers advertised on social media are fraudulent and illegal.

So why does Eskom not check socual, media, and go after these scammers with a vengence?

Instead, the public must be on the look out for them, and report them. When Eskom are the biggest scammers in existance.

If Eskom did it's job, it would have taken all those scammers offline, and no one would be making use of their dubios services.

Shame on Eskom

These people get electricity at a fraction of what we pay. Eskom should come clean on its compromised pre-paid system.

wait. surely this is what the new krn has fixed
