if the money goes to more generators, more qualified staff to do maintenance ,or alternative ways to generate power, then i can understand

but how much of that actually goes for that things?

cuz all i hear is price increase, but not staff/generator increase,

think there milking this cow for everything they have,as when a black out happens ,they wont have a income, and no money for pay,so they should build up there funds, not saying it is so,but this is south africa anythings possible

Looks like someone is clearly upset about having to drive around in a 2014 model Merc.

I hope they sell Telkom next, get government interference completely out of the telecommunications sector, how glorious that would be... Perhaps Eskom are actually doing us a favour after all.

'Cos they are, ANC's gonna ANC, just like they think spending R240mil on their prez's kraal is not enough.

Africa is special, they need to play by special rules.

Kinda what they want, isn't it?

They want you to use less, but they want to make the same/more money.

They don't really want you to use more. They need more money. The reason they are asking for exceptional increases is so they can still make a bigger profit with people cutting down. You can only cut down so much.

Jip, each time we cut down on consumption, we bone their bonuses and they need to increase prices to stay at the same level. But I made it my personal mission to pay these jackasses as little as possible.

Funny enough since Nersa rejected the power utility’s application we had no load shedding which points to blackmailing to get a positive result to their application.

I get it now. Was being retarded as usual. During load shedding...ahem...copper could just...disappear...you know. Without the impact of death or anything. Not that I want Eskom to face damage costs... ... .. .
