In case you haven't been paying attention or, more likely engaging in your usual troll-like cherry picking, the struggle to keep both plants running has been going on for years now and stems from the rampant corruption during the Zuma/Gupta years.

Don't forget the trucks delivering rocks were added to the equation during this time when the coal contracts were Transformed.
 
Wonder how hard they are really running the diesel portion. Read somewhere the SA elections is next year or something. Looks like they trying to make people forget about earlier LS. Think the previous CEO was made the fall guy from the start. Just a thought.
