Hi everyone,
I have been researching lately the esports scene in South Africa and realise that it is a growing community but still quite behind the Europe and USA by a long distance.
Me being a gamer myself for many years and living in Europe for 20 years, I help organize many events, tournaments, lans, qualifiers back in the day when esports was not a real thing and was seen as a cancer to social life.
I am interested in opening a esports bar / cyber cafe in Pretoria/Centurion and would like the feedback of the community as to what exactly they would like to see and what is missing in the esports scene.
I see there was one before called Juke and closed down but I don't understand and cant find any reason why they actually closed.
Is the esports community not interested in this kind of places, not supporting or the management didn't really keep it running?
Thank you for tanking your time to read this and all feedback would be much appreciated.
