Estimated Rand value of Discovery Miles when used toward air tickets

Has anyone recently used their Discovery Miles to pay for or pay toward a flight? I am trying to put an estimated rand value to discovery miles when used for travel (flights).

For example, I get 25% off an international flight (silver status) and I have 10 000 Discovery Miles. I use my Discovery Miles and it takes another R1000 off the cost of my flight, so the rand equivalent is 10 Miles = R1. 1 mile = 10c.
