let's wait 2 weeks inside our homes. Then we can mass distribute the medication around the world without long term safety data available.

My extremely intelligent friends. Do you think there is only one scientist who has a cure for cancer and BIG PHARMA got him by the balls by having his family hostage and not releasing the results. Or do you think EVERY scientist who found a cure to cancer has no access to internet?

Do you need some drug to think ? Please contact @RiaX privately.

No no no dont be decanting your tinfoil brigade into my inbox lol

Wanted to be in before the 'cancer is big business, "they" will never allow a cure' crowd. But I'm too late.

i wonder how in earth people can think this...

such honorable people these scientists and doctors...

There was a 100% cure found in Israel, I think last year or year before. Wonder where that one disappeared to?

I've seen this movie before

The Post, According to a survey conducted by Pace University in 2004, was rated the least credible major news outlet in New York. The Post has been criticized since the beginning of Murdoch’s ownership for “sensationalism, blatant advocacy, and conservative bias.”

Failed Fact Checks
Overall we rate the New York Post on the far end of Right-Center Biased due to story selection that typically favors the Right and Mixed (borderline questionable) for factual reporting based on several failed fact checks. (7/16/2016) Updated (M. Huitsing 12/01/2021)

There's more money in treatment than cure. The pharma co. who discover a cure for cancer would have a short to medium gain in their stock which would probably make shareholders very healthy, but in the long run they'll make less money. I think capitalism as a system isn't really grounded on the good of anyone but the profiteers. That's the system.

In reality however, it'll be near impossible to keep a cure under wrap. It would inevitably leak - I am not sure how much money is spent on finding a cure over what they spend finding treatments. I think government and other funders being involved is good though the best minds would still gravitate toward the big money.

I know several people that had cancer and it has not returned years later. It's called remission only because it cannot be called a cure.

You forgot to mention remission is not a cure and will only work on 5 - 10% of all patients:

The first premise, says Dr. Diaz, is to figure out precisely which patients benefit most from immunotherapy, so they can receive it right away. “Immunotherapy has proven successful in treating a subset of patients with colon and rectal cancer that has metastasized, meaning spread to other tissues.”

The patients in this subset, Dr. Diaz explains, have tumors with a specific genetic makeup known as mismatch repair-deficient (MMRd) or microsatellite instability (MSI).

Between 5% and 10% of all rectal cancer patients are thought to have MMRd tumors, including all the patients in the MSK clinical trial that Sascha participated in. There are 45,000 Americans diagnosed a year with rectal cancer.

If you treat only those you know can be cured, your cure rate will be 100%.

I know how it sounds ... and I feel like you do ... but ultimately the macro-organism that is big businesses will make a series of subtle but strategic decisions and revolutionary medicines like this will never see the light of day.
And when those evil pharma people get the disease themselves, or someone they care about get it. They won’t use the cure. Right?

From the actual study

Background:
...
A subset of rectal cancer is caused by a deficiency in mismatch repair.
...
Results:
....
A total of 12 patients have completed treatment with dostarlimab
....

CONCLUSIONS

Mismatch repair–deficient, locally advanced rectal cancer was highly sensitive to single-agent PD-1 blockade. Longer follow-up is needed to assess the duration of response. (Funded by the Simon and Eve Colin Foundation and others; ClinicalTrials.gov number,

So, for a subset of a certain kind of cancer this medicine worked for 12 patients.

This is still great news. Remember, certain types breast cancer is completely curable. (despite big pharma's attempt to kill everyone involved in making the cure /s)
If this pans out we will be able to add a specific type of rectal cancer to that list, and hopefully it will lead to better treatments for other types of cancer as well.

You can say the same about pretty much any medication.
Anti-biotic X only works against the bacteria Y, and there are different bacteria that can cause the same or similar disease, just like cancer, or even rectal cancer being a collection of similar diseases.
