Hi guys

I have recently got a galaxy tab 7.0 with running ICS. It won't stop pushing my emails unless i remove my password. Even when i set it to sync manually it just won't stop! Also, is there a feature to sync email only using my corporate apn not internet apn?

Another frustration is the auto correct, why do i switch it off? It's very annoying!

I am also unable to log in on Microsoft lync. Gives me a proxy error no matter what connection i use i.e. corporate apn, wifi, internet apn.

Thank you in advance.

This is an ICS bug with exchange email ... It's also one of the biggest causes of battery drain on ICS android devices.

Lots of posts on this problem: Google aware of it.

I've had this issue on my Galaxy S2 after upgrading to ICS 4.0.3, tested it on different ICS ROMS, even 4.0.4, same issue.

Reverted back to Gingerbread 2.3.5 ... ICS is not as stable as they want you to believe, but that's just my experience. Had WiFi issues (switching on automatically, freezing), Apps not working properly (News24/Supersport not loading thumbnails, AppyGeek not loading at all)

I will try Jellybean once available ... hopefully all these issues have been resolved.

Thank you. I will delete the whole thing and use my laptop for emails. I should have waited for the 4G playbook lol

Set it up as a normal POP3/SMTP account

Should work even if it's very basic (no calendar etc)

You can also try MAPI if your Exchange server supports it.
