My thoughts during the trial is she was using make-up to almost make her face look bruised - dark shadows under her cheekbones every day. Deliberately done - she didn't want to look all pretty and stuff whilst claiming to be a victim of severe abuse - especially to her face.

She claims he beat the living **** out of her, literally punching her in the face more times than she could count, yet in pictures taken the next day she's seen laughing it up, looking like a million bucks.

Google image search for "domestic abuse victims" and you will see what actual evidence looks like that would corroborate her insane stories.

The only evidence that's absolutely overwhelming in this case is the evidence of her blatant and frankly disgusting lies.

I think that she could have won the case if she didn't exaggerate the beatings and the rape allegations.
If she'd presented the same venerability that she did in some of the audio recordings, instead of whatever she was trying to do on the witness stand, she would have garnered more sympathy as well.

I'd like to think I'm more just pro-the evidence. I didn't pay attention to the trial except for like Reddit where the pro-JD stuff was overwhelming so I assumed he was being vindicated and the whole narrative around Amber was right. Then afterwards I started to look at the evidence and it fell apart for me pretty quickly. Like how are you gonna defend someone who tells his friend that he wants to rape his wife's burnt corpse? Yeah I guess I think he's basically a POS.
