How do you imagine that works? He admitted it was sent from his phone. His attempt to explain it was that someone else got hold of his phone and sent the message. I'm not sure what the explanation is but most likely he has 2 phones tracking the same convo.

Listen to the judge:

"YOU texted Mr Deuters..."

His explanation:

"You read it right but i did not write that. Perhaps someone else got my phone."

It's a pathetic attempt at worming out of his own messages.

Aai - I hope you realise you are building a rep like saturnz did with his Opel Monza 1990 car of the year thread?

It's going to haunt you for years dude.

Much like your unrequited love for Amber :)

I see Marilyn Manson has been learning some tricks from his best friend on how to weaponize defamation suits against abuse victims

Yeah 'gently deflating leather sack' Depp can do so much better

You sound sour. You should really watch the whole trial and not just PRo AH coverage.

I don’t know how MM think he can get away with this as there is plenty of other victims that will testify in that case.

Amber's lawyers presented the text as if it was sent from his phone when it was actually a message that was received by his phone.

He took it as fact that it was sent from his phone so he came up with the only possible explanation he could think of.

But it wasn't sent from his phone. Hence the "incoming" tag.

If it wasn't sent from his phone his lawyers could have contested it and had it thrown out as evidence. There is metadata behind all these records. The fact that it's still in evidence AND he admitted it was from his phone means you are wrong and grasping at straws.

Lucky her, he didn't beat her that time. Does your wife often need to tell her mother you didn't beat her up?

You presented texts that say he didn't beat her as evidence that he did.

Now you're trying to twist it into evidence that he did beat her but just not at the time when the texts were written?

What even is this?

You would make the absolute worst lawyer.

Your attempts to misrepresent the evidence are pathetic.

The message came from his phone as in it was downloaded or screenshotted from his phone.

It was not sent from his phone.

This is a simple fact.

If your BS was true then every message in my inbox would actually have been written by me.

Seriously weak, dude.

Here is a message he did actually write, and even testified to it.

Notice the "outgoing" tag?

And the absence of the "read" timestamp? (because why would there be a timestamp for when you read a message that you yourself wrote?)

I'm not sure what texts you're talking about tbh. There are plenty of texts from that time that do indicate he was smacking her around.

But obviously it was still early days in the relationship so he didn't get into full on telephone-smashing and nose-breaking and bottle-raping territory yet. Young love, you know.

hey, if it's so obvious that he didn't send it, his lawyers can have it thrown out. He admitted it came from his phone and his lawyers haven't tried to contest it. People do have 2 phones these days you know. Now you're the one trying to lawyer for Depp :D

Depp's lawyers dropped the ball there. They should have noticed that mistake, but didn't.

No you didn’t watch the trial.
JD testified that it didn’t come from him.
You sound like Elaine.
But but Your honor!!!

And yes they left the unverified data in the trial. Let the jury decode for themselves.

They did.
They also saw the whole transcript of every piece of recoded evidence and text trials, which AH refused to submit, but came from JD’s team. Not just the snipets played in court.

You are sounding more like a woke feminist everytime you get on here.

Start showing new evidence that came out since the trial. Loads came out against AH not much has surfaced in defense of her.

They can only hammer harder on the table.
The judge the jury everyone except AH, Cerebus and AH’s girlfriend seems to have it right.

If she had so much evidence where is it.
She could have posted it on social media.
But no lets go after the jury.

Classic Narcissist and you are falling for it.

You're the ones claiming it's a mistake, based on nothing but pure ignorance and speculation of how the metadata on phone transcripts is recorded.

JD claimed that it didn’t come from him.

ftfy. That's the only relevant part in your word salad. The message was sent from his phone. It's been entered and accepted into evidence. What's more, the style of writing is so identical to Depp's own ludicrous bombast that it might as well be a fingerprint.

You're getting confused between the UK trial and the US trial again.

Why are you so invested?
You didn’t even take the time to watch the trial.
And then you keep calling people names when they present you with counter evidence.

You are very classically pounding the table.
Because you can’t pound the facts or the law.

Says the guy who can't even grasp the meaning of "incoming" and "outgoing".

Seriously dude, you are being ridiculous now. Your denial of basic fact is starting to make you look rather insane.

No, you are mistaken. You can even see the timestamp that the message was "read" by Depp on the incoming, while the outgoing only has a delivery timestamp.
