Before I go through an uncouple and reconnecting exercise, here is the problem.

Connected Hearbeat cable from Explora RF out to Explora 2 RF in. Both Explora connected via Unicables in from the DSTV Switch.

Problem....when both decoders are on the same channel, no problem. If one is on a different channel than the other, then ever 2 seconds both decoders switch between a normal screen output and a no signal message screen. Put both back on same channel, problem disappears.

Any thoughts?

Assuming you're using the switch that came with the original Explora, I recall there being some reported problems when both unicable outputs were used at the same time.

Have you contacted Multichoice? Could be as simple as changing the frequencies used on one of the decoders.

Thanks...will explore that. Also found this in a DSTV switch guide..seems one might require two switches.

Got a set of frequencies from multi choice. Did not work. Found alternative freq sets on Web. One set seems to be working.
