Extreme Budget phone suggestion please?

I've got a member on a group that only have a R500 - R800 budget for a new cellphone.
I didn't receive specs, but FB and WA as part of a normal social setup will probably top the list.

Is it possible on that budget and if so, can someone suggest a phone please?

Just check he much ram the phone has. Have used a MTN steppa with 256megs of ram before and it's sluggish.

At least 512megs you want. Should be doable in your budget.
