Eye-Fi card - Which is best make and who sells the best price ?

i have a Canon 550D and would like to get a Eye-Fi card.

which is the best make and what's the "X2" thats labeled on some of them ? whats the advantage of a "X2" ?

There is only one make and that's Eye-Fi itself. Since they're all X2 these days you only need to really worry about what size you want and what features.

I decided on the Pro version because I wanted to transfer RAW but I don't think I've actually ever used that!

Eye-fi refers to a specific brand. Your 550D has built in eye-fi support and I'm almost certain its only compatible with those particular cards.
