My Samsung Galaxy S5 is dying on me. What phone should I get next to replace my S5 that's on similar spec level? If there are any good deals please let me know :)

How did you find the change from Note to cellphone? I'm using a Note 3 and a bit against going back to a phone.
It may take a week max to adapt. It's not so different unless you go for a tiny phone

I came here to say the V20 is the best bet out there.

one day, FAnie will post his review comparing the S7, iPhone 7 and the V20.

I thought I will NEVER be able to cope with a "normal" phone again and didn't know what to get after the Note 7 burned out !!

Looked long and hard until I decided on V20.

Really like the phone - took me about 3 days to forget about the missing stylus of my Note 4.

Will I go back to Note 8 ? Not sure .

Will compare Note 8 with current flagship of LG before I decide.

Thanks for the links, also looking at upgrading this week and leaning towards the S7
I'll never touch Sony again, the Z3 compact is the worst phone i've ever touched

I've had the V20 now for 2-3 weeks and I love it. Decent battery life, great screen, great camera. Overnight standby drain is almost non existent, though credit for that probably goes to Nougat.

Most people love the Z3 Compact. What didn't you like about it?

Hmmm... I really liked my first Z3c back when it was released. Got another one this year and did not like it at all though. The Z5 was way better though and that's one of the nicer phones I've had.

Not sure what the issue could be, I loved mine. The only issue is that towards the end, after about 2 years, the seal on the flap started coming loose which meant that the flap didn't close properly (rendering the waterproof function useless).

If Sony could get the waterproofing right, without the need for flaps (like Samsung does now), I'd consider going back...
