What you doing Seb? forget about this ********![]()
One thing about Seb, you dont pass him easily if he is ahead. The way he managed those tyres were masterclass. I think Kimi retiring won Seb the race, because i think Ferrari would have brought Seb in again. They had to take the risk, and for bloody once their strategy worked. Last year that **** would have cost them the race. Maybe just maybe this is Ferraris year.Lol... Seb has had his fair share against Verstappen. All the old boys getting upset because they're in the faster cars out front and don't have to put up with the traffic anymore. That race was classic Vettel - flawless quali to flawless win in a flawless car from the front. It's what he does best.

Agree with that. But im happy, as its going to be a nice close season hopefully. If Ferrari dont make any silly mistakes, then i can see it being tightWell yes, he managed the tyres well but it could well have been a repeat of last years puncture in the closing laps - if that had happened, we'd all be singing another tune. Also, you absolutely need the right car to manage tyres like that. But like I said, he did what he does best - start out front, finish out front. To be fair though, he would probably also have finished third had he started 9th, I doubt he'd have done any worse than Hamilton in that traffic. I don't think there's much between them.

We just needed a radio communication.
"Fernando, Gasley is faster than you today and he's driving a Honda".
:crylaugh:
Max was a grade A dick head today...
Can someone explain the Fuel side of things? I've seen a few comments about Ferrari saving fuel - just wanting to find out what's that about![]()
Ever since they started condoning amg badges on c180s.....Ferrari have the momentum IMO. Mercedes seem to have hit a wall, particularly with their strategy. They need to up that side of their game. If I were a betting man, I'd say Ferrari are the team to beat this year although it's close.
Max was Max. I wouldn't want him doing anything else. If he'd pulled that move off he'd have been a hero.
Except that move was never going to work, so you're basically saying Max just didn't have the maturity or ability to see when something is gifted or when it's just kamikaze...
It could have worked if Hamilton had given more room or backed off. These guys take those chances all the time on track.
What are you smoking? Hamilton was in front at the start of the incident and completely left the track because of Max's wild passing attempt.
Sometimes trying to justify an incident because you like one driver and dislike another makes you look stupid...
"It was a racing incident,” he said.
“Max dived in on the inside, a good move, bit aggressive pushing Hamilton out but I think most drivers would have done that."
Red Bull team principal Christian Horner said the clash between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton was a racing incident.
Verstappen, who retired from the race as a result of the lap two collision, said the stewards should have investigated Hamilton. But Horner believes they were correct not to get involved.

“It was a racing incident,” said Horner. “For me that is what racing is. [Verstappen] got the tow. He was always going to have to make a bold move. He got the majority done; Lewis was lucky not to lose his front wing.
“Ultimately the stewards made the right decision that it was a racing incident. As long as that is consistent racing throughout the year. Lewis was lucky not to come away with no damage, compromising… he had lost the corner, and at that point you have to have to give it up at some point.”
