Red Bull are to blame. They've blown Max's ego to mammoth proportions and now they are getting flak. I wonder what Aston Martin will be thinking of these DNF's.

On the other hand you have Le Clerc in his 4th race, in an underpowered car, pulling off overtaking moves or being past like a veteran.

fokken lol @sniffpetrol

Some time later another incident done be observed in which a purple Red Bull vehicle driven by an IC1 male, one Mr. D. Ricciardo of Smiling, done collide with the rear of an identical Red Bull vehicle, driven by an IC1 child, one Mr. M. Verstappen, of Creepy Dad. This done be an unfortunate occurence what done should remind motorists of the importance of leaving a safe gap to what be the vehicle in front, especially if that vehicle done be swerving about like a twat.

In the old days, Verstappen would have gotten a talking to from the elder drivers. There needs to be some respect amongst drivers or teammates at least.

Saw the replays of the crash, really fortunate it wasn't more serious.

Looks like both played a part...

All Verstappen for me.

As the rule book states, you can only change your line once when defending. Max just short of weaved down that straight.

Wasn't it Crashstappen that pushed up Ricciardo against the wall going into turn 1? I thought then and there the race was done for Red Bull. You don't need team orders to ask for respect amongst teammates.

Strange how Daniil Kvyat got sacked so quickly ( due to crashes ), but they cling to Crashtappen ...

So when is RedBull going to demote Max to the Rookie team. They have done so before with one of the drivers for less.
Sure they can do it again with this Derby driver moron

A bit late to the party on this conversation but I hope Max and Daniel got shat on from a dizzy height. They completely ****ed their team over with this ****. RB allowed them to race and all they asked from their drivers was to leave enough space for each other and don't take out your team mate. WTF.

Bottas was the obvious beneficiary but it was cruel luck that he picked up debris from the track.

Based on the opening few races, Mercedes need to get their act together coz Ferrari has the stronger car atm.

Ricciardo can race and race cleanly. You only have to look at the way he drove in China. The issue is Max. He has a track record with this sort of stuff.

Sure but I feel that Ricciardo was too late on the brakes + even if max didn't move back across, the room that was left there was minimal. He would have been hard pressed to make that move stick IMO.

Not that clear cut, look at what Ross Brawn's take on this:

""But I would like to highlight a technical point. Once Daniel had settled for his line, and Max had changed direction blocking that line, the Australian became a passenger. The downforce loss experienced by Ricciardo in the wake of Verstappen's car would have made it unstoppable.

"We often think of downforce applying in cornering, but the impact the extra grip has in braking is huge. Take away that grip in braking and what happened on Sunday was inevitable."

Thank you. The dynamics were such that he was as Brawn put it, a passenger. Unlike Vettel in a similar position at the restart of the race after the safety car... to be fair, Vettel had cool tyres to deal with but was lucky he didn't cause another incident. It happens to the best of them.
